How it works and common questions

We like to get your diapers and supplies to you 2 weeks before your due date so you’re ready for your baby’s arrival. Send us a message the day you start using the diapers, and we’ll get you on the route for delivery and pick ups.

Currently, we do not, but we are working on putting together a cover rental service that will be available in the near future. We are also working hard on our online store, where we hope to provide a wide range of cloth diaper covers, diapers, and other products.

You will receive 2 bags of 72 prefolds at your first two deliveries, and then those prefolds are rotated weekly. Your weekly price stays the same no matter how many diapers you use that week. Let us know if you need extra prefolds and we will add 20 extra prefolds at no extra charge!

• When your supplies arrive, unload your clean diapers and use the bag to line your diaper pail.

• Take the cotton insert, folded into thirds and place in diaper cover. Use can use a SNAPPI FASTENER or BOINGO to fasten the diaper around the waist or simply lay inside the cover.

• Place the cover and insert underneath your baby’s bottom and secure around the waist..

• Put dirty diapers out on front porch by 9am on your delivery/pick up day.

Soiled diapers can get tossed right into your diaper pail until baby starts eating solids.

Solid poop can be dumped or shaken into the toilet or removed with flushable liners.

Diaper covers can be reused until they are in need of washing (this can be done with your regular laundry, but use a cloth friendly detergent).

You can include any additional cloth diaper accesories and we will wash them at no exra cost! This incudes diaper covers, cloth wipes, cloth liners, inserts, etc. We wash on a sanatizing high heat so wool items are not recommended to be included as it may shrink them.

There is no need to rinse or dunk the diapers. Once your baby is eating and pooping solids, simple dump or shake the solids into the toilet and leave the rest for us.

If the diapers have been working fine but suddenly your baby is soaking through them, your baby may have outgrown the current size diapers you are using. Send us an email to request the next size up at no extra charge!

It could also be that your baby is a heavy wetter. The most cost effective way is to simply use two prefolds.

Using doublers which are smaller inserts that you place inside the diaper can help soak up the wetness.

Wool wraps or covers are great for night time. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water and will keep baby’s bed dry all through the night. You only need one wool wrap since they naturally clean themselves and only need to be washed every two weeks for lanolizing.

Size 1 prefolds are rated for infants weighing 6-16lbs, size 2 is rated for infants weighing 14-30lbs, and size 3 is rated for 25-35lbs.

Sizing up can be done anytime! Common signs your baby is ready for the next size up is regularly wetting through and bunching of the prefold.

Just send let us know when you’re ready and well switch out your current size for the next size up at no extra cost.

Invoices are sent out every 4 weeks. When you’re ready to cancel service, just send us a message, and we will get everything picked up once your service is up for renewal at the end of your 4-week period. We can also pick up ASAP if requested.

For Vacation holds, simply send us a message at least 2 days before a scheduled pickup and delivery to skip that week of service.
